As the whole world has moved online, connections and communities are being formed in completely new and creative ways, with an openness to let anyone and everyone be part of something, in a safe and welcoming space.

Businesses and brands, startups and entrepreneurs are opening up, offering their services and teachings for free and the levels of inclusivity, support and kindness has been a breath of fresh air - especially for those out of work, feeling isolated or missing familiar connections.

Whilst chaos and crisis continue to unfold outside, what is happening inside homes across the world has been incredible. People are joining communities and seeking out causes they believe in, sharing content, supporting each other and connecting. After all, we are all in this together.

For me, having left my job before lockdown and now only having myself to rely on to stay productive and motivated, its been tough. But I have found solace, comfort and connection in the shape of free webinars. An opportunity to join the conversation, learn and develop and above all feel part of something - a community.

Some highlights from the last few weeks have been the webinar offerings from the incredible purpose first, entrepreneurial groups, and communities below. Focused on positive mental wellbeing, career and personal development - I have found connections with people who also feel passionate and curious about the causes I care about. I would strongly advise to check them out and hit up:

The Dots, Linkedin, Eventbrite and General Assembly to start connecting and find communities that speak to you…
